Compatibility Guide

Ruckus is known for providing long-term support for their legacy access points, ensuring that older models remain functional and secure for many years. However, as technology advances, newer access point models are introduced that require updated firmware versions. These newer firmware versions often include enhanced features, improved security, and better performance, which may not be compatible with older, legacy models. As a result, there comes a point when the legacy access points can no longer support the latest firmware, necessitating an upgrade to newer models to take full advantage of the latest advancements in wireless technology.

Note: As of version 200.8, there is no support for 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5) Wave 1 APs.

Note: As of version 200.16, there is no support for 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5) Wave 2 APs
